Search & Shop For Your Favorite Charity

Here's a lovely idea: Go about your usual online searching and/or shopping, but direct a percentage of revenues produced from both to your favorite charity. How? Via GoodSearch.com.

When you use GoodSearch as your preferred search engine - say when you're doing employer research - you can direct them to deposit a percentage of their advertising revenues from that search to your favorite not-for-profit. If your favorite charity isn't already listed, you can nominate or alert them to this chance to earn donations without doing a single blessed thing. There's no cost to you and no costs to involved not-for-profits.

You can benefit your chosen charity even more by using the GoodShop at GoodSearch. They've teamed up with major retailers (eBay, Barnes & Noble, Target, Old Navy, Sears, and Wal-Mart, to mention but a few) to generate additional donations. Go to the GoodShop at GoodSearch and click on the retailer you want to shop. Shop as you normally would online and a percentage of your purchases will be donated to your selected not-for-profit, again with no fees to you or to them.

Is this the ultimate socially-conscious win/win or what?
